THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY

I have watched a Filipino, Indie film.  It was entitled as “The One That Got Away”.  Well I must say, based on my own personal experience.  It was not only the “One”.  It is more than one.  When you are younger, you thought that every relationship that you are in is based on love.  You thought that love is the greatest issue in your life.  You felt the world is pink.  The birds are chirping outside your window pane.  The breathe of the fresh wind blowing in your ears.  You feel always full, no appetite because you are way too happy to worry about your hunger. You sulk in craziness. You are always singing, because you are God damned contented and happy!  All you think about was that person.  As if you have forgotten that you have other responsibilities.

And then one day, it turned bitter and cold.  Then poof! (It became coco crunch! - My mind says so! LOL!)  It was gone! (Fast-forward)  What are then the factors to be considered why it got away?  Why it ended so soon?  Why you fell out of love? Or vise-versa, why they fell out of love for you?  Did you even consider that they actually did love you?  Mainly W-H-Y?!?!?!

Isn't it you were the one who created love too?
You may utter that I am not an expert in love advice.  But who is??  Even the most powerful writer of love books was distraught by the thing called love.  Who the hell even invented it?  Personally, for love, I can say that I know how it functions.  I can tell whether the person you are with will love you forever.  Actually, the main issue here is, there is no such thing as FOREVER.

Case 1:  You love the person, but the person doesn’t really love you that much.
Ending:  Broken

Case 2:  You love the person, and the person loved you back.  But you fell out of love for whatever stupid reason.  You just woke up and say you want out.   Or vice-versa.
Ending: Broken

Case 2:  You love the person, and the person loved you back.  But either one of you cheats.
Ending: Broken

Case 3: You both love each other dearly.  But one of you died.
Ending:  Broken

Conclusion:  Alone.  Disoriented. Distraught.  Damaged.

Now you argue with me, is there such a thing called forever.  Will you still take a chance to find a new love?  At first, you will say NO… NEVER AGAIN…  But unknowingly you will be trapped again in the same situation.  And the same shit happens.  Is LOVE a drug?  A poison?  Or an evolution?  I believe it is part of the system of existence of each and every human being that was created by the Supreme Being.   Now comes the next question.  Why create something that will hurt someone?  Why make a program that you know that it will end to death??  Be it a natural death, an accident, or commits suicide because that person couldn’t handle anymore.  Who is this sick person to do such a system like this?

Now, my mind wanders…  Why do they make people fall in love, and eventually fell out of love or dies?
